Diggy Diggy Dwarf is a competitive board game where players race to reach the Holy Tavern before their opponents. Using movement and action cards, they must navigate traps, survive duels, and keep at least one dwarf alive until the finish line.
I designed the game around tight, balanced races — preventing runaway leaders while rewarding strategic decision-making. Players secretly choose movement cards each turn, managing limited high-speed cards carefully to avoid becoming vulnerable.
The game also features chaotic action cards, like passing dynamite between players, and a fully modular board made of terrain tiles, allowing for thousands of unique map combinations.
Goal: be the first to reach the Holy Tavern with at least one surviving dwarf
